Full Time
– Manage the pharmacy of medical centre/speciality. Management of Pharmacy for drugs, prescriptions, insurance and policy related matters.
Responsibilities and Duties:
– Ensure all prescription drugs plus controlled substances are secure and safe in pharmacy.
– Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, verify the necessary ingredients and evaluate their suitability.
– Advising patients on the most appropriate dosage for medications.
– Provided superior customer service.
– Managed and resolved any customer conflicts or complaints.
– Maintain records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles and charge file systems.
– Complete insurance forms and work with insurance companies to ensure that patients get the medicines they need.
– Responsible to establish a standard system for keeping the records of the medicines and account of the payments and dues payments received and due and all the other accounting information relating to the pharmacy.
– Ensured the productivity and profitability of the pharmacy to its maximum.
– Supervise entire inventory management related to pharmacy.
– Ensure that the staff complies with proper standards of personal hygiene, appearance and presentation.
– Ensure routine smooth operations across pharmacy department.
– Comply with entire laws governing to pharmacy practice and drugs distribution.
– Check whether prescriptions will interact negatively with other drugs that a patient is taking or any medical conditions the patient has.
– Instruct patients on how and when to take prescribed medicines and inform them about potential side effects they may experience from taking the medicine
– Keep records and do other administrative tasks
– Comply with DOH mandatory requirements and policy

Educational Qualification:
– Bachelors/ Masters in Pharmacy with HAAD License
