Venture Search is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Compliance Professional to join their Executive Leadership Team. The required experience will include multi-jurisdictional regulatory exposure (including but not limited to DFSA, FSRA, FCA etc. – with some APAC exposure being beneficial).
Given the nature of our client’s business, previous experience is required working in an environment with exposure to multiple business lines, senior stakeholders, and geographies. I.e. having previously held senior compliance positions within a global bank or financial institution.
The candidate would have preferably worked in, or started their career in, a developed market under best in practice regulation i.e. FCA.

Requirements

Requirements:
– Education in law, related field, or sufficient compliance related diploma
– Significant exposure to UAE regulators, preferably having previously held authorized individual/mlro status under DFSA or FSRA
– A minimum of 10 years experience in senior compliance leadership roles
– Experience managing large teams
– Track record working with multiple stakeholders and business units, ensuring highest levels of compliance whilst operating as a business partner
– Growth mindset, results focused
– Assertive, approachable, and excellent communicator – able to forge relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.
– Able to travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi occasionally
