The job of the Car Valuation Researcher is to compare values of cars across the UAE, by visiting showrooms and car dealerships, and updating the values in the company system where these are stored.
Located in our head office in Jumeirah Lake Towers you will share your time between office-based and “out” visiting showrooms/car dealerships.
Primary Tasks
• Maintain company systems relating to values of cars in the UAE.
• Manage and maintain a library of all vehicle data specific to the company requirements. Including building a vehicle model code database.
• Visiting car dealerships & showrooms, making phone calls etc to audit and validate prices of cars in company systems.
• To promote and create awareness of the company and all its products both in the automotive industry and externally through all media opportunities.
• To represent the company at any opportunities that arise to promote its services.

• Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
• Pro actively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments.

Requirements

Ideally from an automotive background, a good knowledge of cars and the UAE car market is essential for this role. Technical experience (i.e. fixing cars, car parts etc) is NOT required, but a decent understanding of the primary car manufacturers in the UAE, types of vehicles etc is required.
Knowledge Skills & Experience
• Should have excellent knowledge of the automotive industry in the UAE
• Must be native English speaker or speak fluent English.
• Other languages not required, although Arabic would be an asset.
• Previous Valuation or Surveyor experience would be very strong asset.
• Must have UAE driving license and be able to visit Dealerships/Car Showrooms around Dubai/UAE.
• Strong computing/IT skills are essential
